Want to be a resident of HTP? So, be prepared for Audit

16.08.2018

In just six months, more than 100 companies became residents of HTP. This is already quite possible to consider as evidence of great confidence on the part of the Belarusian and foreign IT community towards Decree No. 8, which came into effect about three months ago.

However, many forget about the requirements that are imposed on HTP residents, one of which is the annual audit and the provision of an audit report to the Park Administration until July 1 of the year following the reporting one.

In addition to the need to provide an audit report to the HTP Administration, conducting an annual independent audit helps to identify and eliminate violations in accounting (if any), and the auditor’s recommendations — to minimize the risk of their occurrence in the future. All this significantly increases the reliability of the data presented in the reporting, on the basis of which important strategic decisions are made, and also significantly reduces the likelihood of possible fines and claims from the controlling bodies.

In addition, the positive opinion of independent auditors increases the credibility of reporting by owners, potential investors and financial institutions.
